Ben Glass has proven himself a smart, savvy, adept practitioner of Glazer Kennedy style marketing and business improvement strategies - in his own practice, in assisting others in his field, and as inspiration and mentor to many of our Members in a broad variety of other businesses. Folks in the Northern Virginia area with access to Ben through the local GKIC Chapter Meetings, Kennedy Study Groups and Mastermind programs led by Ben will find a wealth of opportunity and direction for growing, expanding, and if need be, reinventing and better marketing and promoting their businesses. When I first met Ben Glass I was very frustrated with my printing and graphic design business. I had no vision or direction. Ben invited me to his office and explained what he has learned from Glazer-Kennedy style marketing and how it has worked for him and tribe. He actually gave me some of Dan’s books to read. Wow. It changed my whole way of thinking. Since then, instead of closing down we moved our printing shop to a better location and now I’m hiring people! Kia A. Arian Zine Graphics
Finding a Marketing Advantage in Northern Virginia for Your Business
If you're trying to compete in today's market, you should listen to my mentor Dan Kennedy. He knows a thing or two about successful marketing.
Dan, using the groundwork of Gary Halbert, preaches the value of finding your "starving crowd."
What Dan is saying is that you need to find the consumers that have an itch for what you are offering. This itch could be due to a market in chaos, a market where people are suffering, or a group of people who have a wildly passionate interest level. It is then your opportunity to provide the needed service or product.
Dan uses the example of food trucks to illustrate the point. Food trucks sell subpar, overpriced food. However, wherever they go, they are met with interested customers who flock to the truck. How do they do it? They move their truck to where the "starving crowd" is at the time.
Identify the crowd for your market in Northern Virginia and build the right offer for them. Of course, the right offer will only take you so far if you don't reach out to these people as well. Do your homework.
Find your starving market. Create the right offer. Market that offer to your now well-identified audience. Scratch the itch of your potential consumers.

ready to come to a meeting. Choose blue if you’re in the
early stages of your marketing research.
